Design
The DJI OM 6 features a magnetic phone clamp, enabling easy and flexible attachment and detachment. It boasts a compact design with dimensions of 276×111.5×99mm when unfolded and 189×84.5×44mm when folded, and weighs 309g, slightly more than the DJI OM 5 (290g). However, the weight difference is negligible and does not affect its flexibility or ease of use. The new-generation gimbal from DJI also includes an improved textured handle to prevent slipping, adding a dynamic touch to the design and ensuring a secure, comfortable grip in the palm of your hand.

Instant Startup
Unlike the DJI OM 5, which requires a button press to start, the DJI OM 6 will automatically turn on when you open the gimbal. Once your phone is successfully connected to the gimbal, the app will automatically open, allowing immediate use.
Active Track 6.0
The DJI Osmo Mobile 6 is equipped with the latest Active Track 6.0 technology, providing stable tracking of targets even at long distances. For outdoor activities such as travel, street photography, or camping, this gimbal can automatically lock onto the subject, keeping it centered in the frame.

Timelapse
Timelapse is an essential feature for content creators, and it’s available on most current recording devices, including the DJI OM 6. Besides Timelapse, users can also enjoy Motionlapse and Hyperlapse modes. Motionlapse is particularly noteworthy as it comes with various simple templates, allowing users to compile beautiful moments into impressive clips effortlessly.
Panorama
The panoramic mode on the DJI OM 6 gimbal offers three settings: 3×3, 240°, or CloneMe (which creates “cloned” images of the subject appearing in multiple positions within the frame). This mode provides a realistic and creative panoramic view, stimulating the user’s creative potential.
Story Mode
Story Mode supports various recording templates with camera movement effects, transitions, and suitable soundtrack options, enabling users to share high-quality, impressive videos with simple adjustments. Additionally, Story Mode allows users to customize templates.

Follow: The camera angle follows the gimbal’s horizontal (pan left/right) or vertical (tilt up/down) movements. Combined with the stabilization system to ensure stable images. The Follow mode is suitable for activities where horizontal and vertical movements are frequent.
Just Roll to Control: With the newly integrated wheel on the side of the gimbal, users can easily adjust focal length, zoom, and focus smoothly and flexibly. Users can also press the wheel once to switch to manual focusing mode.
SpinShot: Push the joystick left or right to adjust the camera’s rotation angle, creating dynamic and creative shots. SpinShot is suitable for movements like pushing, pulling, and tilting at high angles.
FPV (First Person View): Offers flexible shooting where all three axes of the gimbal (pan, tilt, roll) follow the movements of the main body (tilt, rotate, up/down, left/right). FPV is ideal for capturing static subjects such as architecture, landmarks, or buildings.
Tilt Lock: Locks the gimbal horizontally, allowing the camera to only follow left/right movements of the Pan axis.
